Returns and refunds policy | Secretaire

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it.

 

Returns Eligibility

Returns may be accepted under the following conditions:

  • The item is damaged or defective

  • The incorrect item was sent

  • The item was significantly different from its description

Returns must be requested within 7 days of receiving your order.

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

 

Vintage Items

Many Secretaire items are vintage or one-of-a-kind.

Signs of age, patina, or minor imperfections are considered part of the item’s character and are not regarded as defects.

For this reason, returns are generally not accepted for vintage items unless they were incorrectly described.

 

Craft Supplies

Unused craft supplies may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided:

  • The item is unused

  • Packaging is intact

  • The item is in resalable condition

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was ours.

 

Refunds

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Digital downloads

  • Used craft supplies

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Items damaged through misuse

 

Shipping Issues

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours and provide photographs of the packaging and contents so we can assist with a courier claim.
