About Debutantes and Squires
Debs and Squires is a long-standing programme at Northcliff High School that has been running for over 40 years. Grade 10 learners take part in a year of service and fundraising. The money raised supports special projects and improvements at the school, and is also shared with charities, including St Laurence’s Children’s Haven.
It’s about more than the funds. Participants learn that hard work pays off, and they experience the value of giving back. Along the way they build teamwork, character, and camaraderie. Students who raise more than R10,500 are invited to the annual Debs and Squires Ball.

About Arjun

Hi! I’m Arjun Parbhoo, a learner at Northcliff High School. I’m taking part in the Debs and Squires programme to help raise funds for my school and for St Laurence’s Children’s Haven.
I’m the son of Mrs Secretaire and I often help in the shop, with the website, and the software. This page is one of the ways I’m working towards my goal of raising R10,500. I’d really appreciate your support!
